Nice. Mine looks the same but I only have 15000 miles in the canadian north. But Simon's looks close to that with about 60000miles or so on it. Easy to do when you don't pay for the car wash!

Looks good Wayne... do you care to share some engine bay cleaning techniques????

on another board I'm a member of, this very topic was covered and several different methods and products were discussed. Just curious what you use. I'd really like to get mine looking better come spring. Aside from lookinf better, cleaner vehicles are also easier to find problems on and easier to do work on without coming out looking like a black man afterwards. ;)

www.adamspolishes.com I use only their products...I sound like a salesman for them LOL Type in 'TDG' for a dscount. I am telling you, that stuff is the best, I had tried everything else, and nothing compares. I work very little at keeping it clean.

I haven't worked up the nerve to take a pressure washer and blast the shit out of my engine bay with all the electronics in there. I've heard over and over again about people doing it though. Perhaps just a good engine cleaner/degreaser of choice and a reg. garden hose with nozzle as opposed to a pressure washer???

That should get the bulk of the grime out of the way, then I can hand detail it with a detail product of choice... for which that adams detailer spray seems to fit the bill nicely and is good for all surfaces. I also like the sounds of their VRT - vinyl, rubber, tires cleaner/treatment. Keeps those surfaces looking clean w/o the greasy buildup and mess. THAT is what I like.

I use In &Out Spray to detail the motor, but it won't be available again until later this year (had to change the formula to stay legal). Detail spray I use on the exterior paint. VRT on anything black plastic, Under Carriage spray on wheel liners, frame, etc. Leather conditioner on the whole interior. Detail Spray on all windows. Their cleaner/degreaser on anything dirty....but it never has time to get dirty

Mine is so dirty inside I was thinking about putting seat covers on backwards to keep me clean. The poor girl.

I low pressure wash around my engine bay with the degreaser first then the spot free rinse. I don't like spots!! ;)
