Damn Im jealous. I just took mine this weekend to the car wash and washed the engine bay. I put it on the soak mode for low water pressure and spray the motor while its running. First note, I started the truck and drove straight to the car wash, turned her off and sat there for a bit. Temps were about 150. Then I turned the truck on and soaked the engine bay. Then I rinsed without squeezing the handle for extra pressure.

Begining of the year I used a soap bucket with a rag and wiped everything down in the engine bay, then used the garden hose fer a rinse. The car wash is a quick dust off. Need to take pics. First I thought you had to use some type of dressing, but you dont, it shines nicely without anything.

Wayne, guess you DO still check in here every once in a while! You still got the puller? Been doing any pulling this year? I can't remember seeing you in any of the results threads. Thought maybe you took the year off to build up for next year or something???

I have been busy, moved back to Florida, moved into a new house, moved our offices here from Ohio, etc.

I sold the LB7 back in March, IIRC. Sold it to a friend in Hamburg, PA. They are using it for a DD. I still have the motivation to do some pulling, but here in FL. there is not enough to warrant a build. One day, but not tomorrow. :baby:

If something shorts out don't blame me!

I have never hada single problem with washing the motor. I was h it maybe once a month. I hose it down, spray degreaser/cleaner on it, let is sit then scrub it with a brush. I just rinse it down after that, blow it off, let it sit in the sun then spray Undercarriage Spary form Adams on everything. Dirt don't stick to it!
