Yes. I am using V7.5.7 Build 246 and according to efilive website that is the latest. I know it did not work correctly on this last truck

That's pretty unfortunate as it seemed like they had actually done something about it. Then to make matters worse, we weren't allowed to have the "top secret" info to know what the pattern is on the EFI software currently so basically no better off then before. If someone with an oscilloscope wouldn't mind posting the results at some point, it would be most appreciated. As mentioned above you can't just pull the injector connector since the FICM circuits are wired like 2 sets of christmas lights........need a scope or at least a multimeter with scoping capabilities.

Funny if I pull the injector it says is bad on my lb7 or any other lb7 it's the one with issues same on my dad's lly? is it specific to a os by chance? I didn't re read the whole thread

It's supposed to be an issue with just LLY's, and only deals with the injector shutoff control. The balance rates are said to read correct, but the injector control is incorrect for some cylinders on the LLY. Somebody had posted about it and said that the injector assignment varied with RPM's, and that is why he didn't post up his findings was it wasn't a simple issue of this injector should be X instead of Y because the numbering changed with RPM's.

Has there been any update to this? I had a truck last week with bad over fueling at idle. When I turned off injector 1 (passenger front) it cleared up. Replaced that injector and it was the same. Replaced injector 2 (driver front) and the problem went away. Just had another LLY with a fuel knock while driving. Turned of injector 8 and it cleared up. Replaced injector 8 and the knock is still there. What injector do I "try" now? 7?

A shortened version as posted in 2010....

The Scan Tool information provided by GM is what we've displayed in our software. Unless you can disprove GM documentation with evidence (not hearsay and banter) we are not in a position to make changes.

We stopped developing LLY support in 2008. This thread has generated much banter and heresay - there is no demonstrated or scientific fact to support any of the claims made in this thread even after much request.

To prevent further confusion for customers, I'm going to request this thread be locked.

Cheers
Cindy
