When did you have yours done?
I have had Rob's tuning for around 2 years now. From stock transmission to built transmission tunes. The tunes are great, customer service was top notch as well. I even got a call at 1:00am to help me out a few times because I don't stop messing with shit.
It is very obvious that you are a dumb ass.
1) Please explain to me what you don't grasp about "TUNES ARE LOCKED"
2) Please explain to me how a person can monitor injection timing by riding in a truck? I would love to meet these 2 guys that can feel when timing has dropped 10*

2. Is it possible that the timing only drops 10 degrees when shifting into 4th? Yes.
What else has he claimed that could be believed to be bullshit? I don't want to look back through the thread to read all of his posts. I don't know what is going on with the truck, and like Dustin said, ATP's tuning speaks for itself, but sometimes weird shit happens that can't be explained. I know I've seen my fair share of trucks that have left me scratching my head. Some of them I have figured out, and some I never did. I will say it is 100 times easier to tune a truck in person rather than over email.

That brings up another question. I have heard/read a lot about codes coming up with efi. Is this from the standard tunes i would get or is this from people playing with these tunes. I had the edge juice on my old truck and never had any problems with it for the 5 years i had it. Why are people coming up with all these issues with the efi live? Sorry like I said before, I'm an idiot when messing with this stuff. I will never try to mess with the tunes.

you will be fine. the 1% out there who has issues or troubles can make it seem like the statistics are completely reversed. internet marketing and sales as well as the ability to post on forums takes what use to only be "word of mouth" negitive and postive affects and great exaggerates the negitve affects. Once its on the internet, it will never go away and can almost always be brought back up.
Hrlyguy2 is he not the one who got all uber butthurt and ragequit DF and demanded his username be deleted.
Don't let one person who has had issues with Robs tuning (that may or may not be within Robs tuning anyways) shy you away or concern you. I have dealt with Dustin several times and he has always been straight up with me and never bullshitted me. I have ran robs tuning on 2 trucks now and I like the tunes and they run just fine. If I had an issue I am sure Dustin OR Rob would have no issues helping me out. In fact they took time out of their schedule to help me before I even got his tunes.
Well that does make feel better. (good info) Just get a little nervous with a purchase like this, but yes I have been talking with Dustin and he seems very knowledgable.
