a guy in town just had to do a head job do to bad efi live tuneing or so he clames. im assuming that its not a commin thing to happen and was just a fluke w his truck. iv had a few guys try to talk me out of efi live already.

dont let anybody talk you out of efi. Its stupid to blame efi for blown headgaskets:spit: if you ask for a hot tune, you're gonna get a hot tune which is obviously a risk you're taking. efi is only as good as the tuner making the tunes, every truck is different, some trucks can take a beating (like lbz's:D) others cant.

take a drive to have a tuner tune your truck, you will be:woott::woott::woott:

It's pretty hard to find worse tunes than the canned tuner bs.

From what I have seen over the years towing heavy loads and heat cycling are the major killers of gaskets.

Most failures I see are on heavy c5500's or duallys that live with a gooseneck attached.

Twisted up daily drivers are few and far between.

I would suggest buying tunes and efi live from ATP, and just read the instructions on how to load the tune in the truck.

Any reputable tuner will do ok. That said I know rob seems to have quite a few happy customers and very few disgruntled ones. On that token I can say the same for bobo, tony and quite a few others.
