Anybody else have their egt sensor in the CTS wig out? Mine started freaking out last night driving home... 4 months old and 600 miles on it... Glad to see edge' products haven't changed since 09... :(

When I had the Evolution CTS with pyro, mine would randomly fly up to 1800 at idle. Seems to be a common problem. Switched over to an Autometer pyro and gauge and have had no issues.

Over 1.5 years on mine with no issues.Mine is the non-EAS type that connects directly to the CTS,if that makes any difference.

My brother in law just went through the same crap. They did send him a new one, but he had to give a CC number to make sure he sent the other back.

there was another thread on this recently, apparently EDGE buys there probes from two different manufactures and one of them sucks ass at making probes because they fail constantly. EDGE said they are working with the manufacture to remedy the problem, in the meantime you may or may not have one of the "bad ones" and the longevity of the probe varies. so you never know when it will go out.

but they are under warranty so i don't care if it goes out its just a little bit of a hassle to switch it out.

I went threw 2 within 3 months. Good part is it happens so often the guy from edge did not even question it and sent me a new one. Edge has the best customer support I have ever delt with.
