Does anyone have experience with Eagle Rods? They are about to release a rod for the Dmax. I am in the planning process of a build for my LMM. Just trying to get a idea on if the Eagle's should even be considered or stick with proven Dmax rod.

Thanks,
Tyler

I've used Eagle rods in gassers with good success, never in a diesel. It will be interesting to see (subscribing)

Just off the phone with them and they are hoping for a summer release, but there is no certainty in that the rep said.

There accually made by another well know company, K1. They are made in china, but with US engineering. Cost, as i was last told was between 2000 and 2500 a set.

I called Eagle back in 08 and they were to busy playing with the Ford diesel rods at the time said Duramax might be the last one they make parts for.all tyre gasser parts have worked great in the past. I also called Lunati about rods and J&E about pistons no one wanted to mess with it. Be nice to see how much the price will be.

Funny thing...all the other "proven" brands were "new" once.....

Discounting new parts and methods before they've even gotten started is how this "sport" will die.

True. Ben tried rods from someone who was new to the rod business. Eagle is new to Duramax rods not rods in general.
