I'd like to bring this up from the archives for an update from Ben, and see what guys have tried and figured out...
I've read that the dual Taurus fans seem to be working well enough, but I can get a dual 12" SPAL fan set up in a shroud that already powder coated and will mount right up to the radiator with minimal fab.
I believe Vaz is using the same or similar set up on his TBSS, as am I. I'm running the PCMofNC dual SPAL fan set up on my TBSS and I love it, it moves a ton of air, enough to feel it at the back of the rig and pulls hard enough through the coolant stack to suck a sheet of paper into the grill when the hood is closed.
I wanna say the fans draw 40a (each or separately I do not know) and together in hi move somewhere around 10,500-12,000cfm...
I'm not sure about the cfm rating and how the efficiently the fans would work against the restriction of the D-max cooling stack, but I know I'd like to ditch the mechanical fan if there's a decent option/way to do so.
