Looks good. Assuming and that's dangerous as we all know, that's a new hitch setup?

Better add a spreader bar at top mounts, the hitch will bow those plates towards center! Trust me, I've done it before....
Yep, there will be a couple of spreader bars and still need to add the bottom link bars and finish welding it up.
Not really any secrets, these style hitches have been around for a long time. There are many variations of the them, but same concept.

It's still 2.6 this year, but there allowing open rear end. A lot of the pulls I do are just a open diesel class also.
I'm sure you know, but that's how it is for us. 2.6 split with 3.0 smooth for a year. I believe the 3.0 needs to run 7800# while 2.6 still at 8000. I hear the 3.0 has lost a lot of power though
Nope, making more power than the normal/legal 2.6...not much though. But making peak power at a lower rpm. More torque and harder on engines and drivetrain. Same goes for 3.6 to 3.0 slotted.... Only ones losing power had the cheater covers.
