About a hour and a half north east of kokomo... I've ran all over the state pulling, my truck sits down by Huntington in a shop there. Always enjoy talking trucks if you ever see me out and about be sure to swing by and say hey its nice to put faces to screen names! I know danny leslie is down your way I think? I know hes seen it.

I will for sure, we get up that way quite a bit in the summer going up to the lakes

Thought Id share what the rods looked like after I tore it down this year... As I just wanted to get it in running, pulling forum. I put head studs and gaskets in it only. 100% stock everything besides that ran a S475 with 100% overs for most of the year then went to a Very Well built 2.6 turbo for a bit ....

That is so awesome. Exactly what my plans are with my 94.5 F250. Never seen it done before but you've fueled that fire under my ass to get it started! Great build!

What power level would you say that was at? For how many hooks?

Id say ATLEAST 950hp.... I was scared to put it on our chassis dyno for the fact of if I loaded it hard I think I would of broke rods..... the rpm of pulling helps out a ton to make them last... if it were a street or strip truck they would have been long gone but Id say about 25 hooks like this... was a stock motor with 113k on it when I got ahold of it with blown headgaskets.

awesome build! wish i could make it to that event to take a look at your truck!

i have wondered myself why a duramax hasnt been thrown in a dodge body.. i think i read somewhere that its such a pain, it really isnt worth it.

the more and more i mess with duramaxes, the more i like them. and i have a one ton dodge that needs a motor and trans, so i may just start looking at what it would take to install the duramax into a dodge.. i like when people say it is a pain in the ass, and isnt worth it.. i really like it when i prove them wrong, and show them a finished product, and the looks on their faces are like WTF?? haha.

a few years ago we thought about the dodge thing and actaully have brought the idea back up a couple weeks ago.. but this is the chassis i had and it has its reasons for me to be using it........:thumb:
