I'm not asking for advice. I'm asking for somebody that knows about the Duraflite to share some knowledge about what is involved with it. IVe only ever really felt with fords and a few cummins so this is my first Duramax. ITs been in the works for a few months now jus planning everything out. Have a lot of what I need, have a lot of parts I built myself. (And not jus slapped together) I've talked to plenty of reputable people about their input and experience with similar setups and honestly the only person that told me that I will work and didn't try to get me to change my mind was mark@danville. I have every bit of respect for that guy for that too. He knows exactally what my plans are and he had a lot of input on what's actually going to happen. He will also be tuning the truck. He pretty much made the decision on the fuel side and I value his advice which is why I'm taking it. It will be an s480 with a 1.10 t4 housing and an 87mm turbine in the valley (which I am getting from him) with two s472's with the .90a/r t4 87mm turbines as well. Dual cp3's and most likely 250% overs. He suggested I wouldn't need that much fuel but it will be an advantage to ease the tuning a little bit cause there will be room to work with. I'm undecided about the Pistons I want to use but the bottom end will be fully built, everything will be fully studded with billit caps and a girdle and I'm leaning towards the So Cal 9100 AF cam. Heads will be ported by a friend of mine with a flow bench, oversized valves will be installed with valve springs and pushrods. Many other details and little things involved as well
