I picked up a 300k mile 2008 LMM van cheap. My wife drive's an 2008 Tahoe, I could sell the van and make some coin.....but my never sell side just wants to hold on to the van and put the Duramax/4L85e and all harnesses in the Tahoe...but I'd never get to it either, lol
What kinda price tag are you thinking? I'm not in a rush so I wasn't planning on buying much yet.

Thank you again Tom, I just dug though 5 more pages of threads over there with no luck on anyone doing a 1500 Tahoe. I need to find time to call Eric at duraburb. I think I have found most of the info I need. Biggest questions right now are core support and rear ac lines. I found the measurements for a staggered body lift, found how to do the engine mounts. The rest is pretty simple it seems.. Just gotta figure out how to make the 10 bolt live.
That chambersj guy who posted on the first page is my friend who I said helped his brother do the swap on a Tahoe and a Suburban. If you have more questions about it, I'm sure he could answer them for you. What did you need to know?

Tom yea I read through Chris' thread and it had pretty much all the info I needed with good pics, it's just a little different in a tahoe I think. Bonus for me is my under hood fuse box is the "same" as the trucks unlike Chris' truck because it was an 01-02
Well this dream might become a reality.. Picked up a truck load of lly parts and 6 new injectors today. Really trying to decide what I want to do with it.. I keep wanting a 3794 and trans kit with egr delete and 3" hotside..
However the resale side of me thinks it would be better off with stock turbo, stock intake, stock trans etc.. Pretty much like it would be if it came from the factory.
Cost would only be 3-3500 difference..
Then there's tthw 3794 and converter/ transgo/ magic parts from mike..
Power won't be an issue, honestly I think if it made 400 at the tires it would be more than enough becHse it maybe makes 200 now..
600 is windshield cracking territory and rear axle issues..
