the test mule was getting 27 mpg towing a boat( 4.5). i guess the govt thought getting 30+ mpg was bad for the oil corporations:(
Would have been sweet. Hopefully they bring it back and release it eventually.

Not changing the subject but I saw a 6.7 run on the track Sat. Paper plate truck, 16.23 or something close to that. I know it was low 16 but didn't realize it was a 6.7 till I saw it up close in the pitts. CCLB.

Woulda thought almost 400 HP would be quicker. The 6.4 will run low 16s stock.

I saw a 6.7 at the local ford dealer today. I was there picking up some parts for a lincoln Im working on.

Good looking truck, quiet as hell at idle. I would drive one. Once the tech backed it out of the shop and got on it in the parking lot, I didnt think it was any quieter than an LMM above idle/under load.

I was kinda talking to one of the techs/service manager at the parts counter about it, I said "man I wouldnt want to work on one though..." and the tech said it should be easier than a 6.4 to work on. I said "haha quick release cab...?" and the service manager standing there sneered at me and said "well at least its not like your duramax's that crack heads every week". Of course we all know its not worth arguing with idiots like that so I just rolled it off and laughed as he walked away.

The truck I saw run was with the Rudy's shop, I think they're a sponsor on there. I think everyone trolls around to see what the other guys are up to, there's 70 guest on here every time I open the page, so I guess they're watching here too.

Lol let them watch i mean our trucks just crack heads all day everday right?

I hope the 6.7 is a 1000x better than the 6.4. at work i still have a 6.0 because the company has yet to have a 6.4 not got through a trans or motor. our record holder is at 70k miles on its 4th motor second trans and i wana say 20th radiator  i think its actually the 5th or 6th but still they are junk. Idk if ill be getting a 6.7 or not word is we are getting all v10 gasser :banging: so we will see

Maybe he doesn't know the difference between a head and a piston? I can't say that I've heard of ANY cracked heads... Pistons, however....
