Hey guys I have a 2015.5 2500 Lml and my old truck was a 2011 with def and dpf deleted w/straight pipe cold air efi etc.. and I loved it but I did the work no tunes. I am getting into doing my own tunes and built a simple roughly 70hp tune works for now cause the truck is stock but now that my Powerstroke work truck(not preferred first I've owned) is where I want it, its the Duramax's turn and I'm wanting to start building tunes I can use as I start making changes to the truck so my question is this: I have edited LMM tunes and in like the Dtc I had a lot more possible items to adjust including Dpf then any stock file I have found for the LML how do I go about this is that how the stock files all are ?

Note: I have never done deletes so I'm not even sure if this is where you go about it in the software and I am new to it at all just looking for tips from a lot more knowledgable people and I am not really looking to buy a stock tune but id love to pay someone who has an hour to talk to me on the phone about the subject and let me pick their brain.

Efi doesn't support deletes for lml

Several tuners have done it and you can buy it from them.

So how would you go about tuning the truck because if I had someone simply build me just deletes and load them onto the truck then I make the tunes for power and flash the truck it will go back to stock no deletes right? and my old truck had kory willis do my old truck it was great had def and dpf gone but I was under the assumption that was efi and they just sent me a autocal

Sorry for sounding dumb I just wanna go about finding the right solution for me.

Really? I could have sworn deletes were unavailable for the lml in the US with efi. Not that you can't tune it at all just the deletes.

LML is not a ecm that you start learning to tune on, just buy a tune from one of the big names in the game- they will write a tune that fits your needs. No one gives anything away anymore as the tunning world is cut throat and the guys that do it for a living have looks of equipment to pay for in order to sell thier work.

I love it when people actually let info out instead of trying to hide it like its a huge secret for their personal profit only....Info is info, fair is fair.....Funny really when people get upset.

I also love getting PM's from guys in a thread when youve done nothing but state your opinion and then they block you before you can respond....LOL N2BRK.....Youre a funny, yet misguided little guy. Usually when someone blocks or "unfriends" you....its because they cant handle the truth and they know youre right. Just saying. Someone quote this for the poor little guy.

Matt, you've got it all wrong. No reputable tuner is going to publish a "how-to" about it, nor hand out their hard-earned work on LML tuning for free.
You first might want to learn more about how openly publishing LMM deletes has gotten companies/tuners in financial trouble with the EPA in the past before taking your LS experiences and generalizing them onto us.

Cmon Tom, you know capitalism is evil. Socialism is the way of the future!! Everyone should get everything for free!....

If only Bernie would have promised free Diesel trucks, and free tuning for everyone he might have been able to defeat hillary..... Lol

I tried to nicely explain some of the details that a newer member might not realize, and got a snotty reply. I replied to clarify and was accused of picking a fight. Lol. She has a chip on her shoulder and I wasted 5mins of my life that I'll never get back. Blocked and moving on. :thumb: this thread really should get trimmed.

If Trump rolls back the EPA's tyrannical ways, Id certainly be happy with that. Bernie and Hillary were both "no way in hell" options no matter what to me...

The only way these new people are going to learn is for older members to educate them.

Some will learn what we have gleaned over the past 16 years, some wont.

I read for about a year before I joined. Might not have posted for at about as long again. Lol. I don't know everything (by far!) but received a lot of help and try to give back when I see an opportunity. In the past few years I've let member come over to my house and help, and have made some nice friends from this site. This site is good because people as a whole know their shit and don't tolerate folks spewing misinformation. I've been corrected before and have thanked folks both publicaly and privately. I try to check my ego and open my ears as much as my mouth. It's a rare skill. Lmao Some folks you just need to cut your losses sooner rather than later.

I do think there should be some snipping on this thread - my posts included.

Naw, there's no need. We got our point across....that its not something to ask out in the open about.
