I've used lml gaskets on probably 10 trucks with no issues, one being my personal truck.

However nothing at any "extreme" power level. All stock engine trucks except one and it's still stock fuel with a stage 2 r.

I have used them on my triple truck. No issues holding there. Prep is everything. If something gs not straight it will show it itself.

So are you saying my prep is what caused mine to fail? How much power does your tripple truck actually make? How many miles of abuse do you have on it? How many passes down the track? What times were they? My block was feshly decked and my heads were too with H11's torqued to 130#'s. 85# boost, 100-120#'s drive, real HP numbers around 1,080-1,100 at the tires.

My stock headgaskets and headbolts took 65#'s boost and around 750hp for thousands of miles and weren't blown when a rod exited the block. These should not have failed in my engine! Do what ever you all want, but I will not run them again. Not worth $100 you save

I'm not saying anything except that they held up we'll at over 1000 hp. I don't know why yours failed. I do know that oil contamination or something that isn't straight will not last no matter which gaskets you use.

On a positive note, the set Im putting in now are going in my Regular cab build, so atleast it's not my daily driver if they do fail. Besides I doubt this motor is going to make it a season at the track anyhow. ;)

I did the socket on the flywheel trick and I can't break the nut free. I've broken 4 breaker bars. Snap on breaker bars

I have a 4 ft 1 inch drive bar. Didn't take much effort.

You should be asking yourself what you have to do to get it back on properly:D
Told ya its a PITA:hug:

YOU NEED A BIG ASS BRAEKER BAR!
AND THEN A PIPE
A NUT SACK FULL OF TESTOSTERONE
AND A LITTLE DOSE OF STUPID STRENGTH
:spit:

FWIW- I snapped the hossle of a 1/2 breaker bar, it wasn't a snap-on or anything but it wasn't a harbor freight quality tool, either...

Pulled 3 balancer bolts off 3 different Duramax's in the last week and a half all with my Milwaukee 18v 1/2 impact. Point being a decent 1/2 drive impact goes along ways, well worth the 20 extra minutes it takes to make the room to use one while pulling it apart with the engine still in the truck.;)

I'll make room to put my air impact on it one of these days I just didn't feel like pulling the radiator today

I made this about a year or so ago. Its a 1 inch solid piece of steel 3 feet long with a socket welded to it. It took that and a pipe on it to get mine off.
