Pretty sure the pics I saw that ppe posted showed the bed cut up and it was back halved, might be blind though. Either way, quite an accomplishment on the front half.
Think its time to go v-band instead of boots?
thanks man whats up, hows the truck running??
thanks man whats up, hows the truck running?? Yes it does have a aluminum floor in the bed, other that that full frame with added 4 link as you seen in the pics, full interior other than no passenger seat, carpet stereo, soon to be two 10 inch subs i have to have a stereo as the red truck did, just to much fun lol Fuel cell in the bed as well and one battery, added role cage through the dash so its looks clean, other that that basic bodied truck?
Topeka? You talking about the NHRDA finals?Well, it's last good run was a memorable one, haha. I don't think I'll ever forget it, nor trump it. it'll be back before the end of the season, maybe by Topeka?
Ken the only weight i have of the trucks was my first race in florida, it weighed out at 5600 with me inside, but the same scale was setting crew cabs at 6500 so i believe the weight is off, i have a local scale here in town i will be taking the truck to tonight, i should have an accurate weight soon!
Yes im still on the stock tcm with minor adjustments made to the tunning, i was not even aware there was a stand alone for one are they better simon??
i dont run a dsp5 switch mack, to answer your question, no it has not been close to its full potential, i have not had a chance to spray the truck this year but once or twice only on the low pressure system, i have had no jets open yet, bottom line is i have been playing hell trying to keep this thing together on fuel only!!! its been one thing after another!! Indy was all motor 7 of 7 passes blown boots! I did activate the low pressure after i got knocked out by h@s just to see what would happen and blew a boot 100 feet out, just as i expected it would with any nos involved!! believe me i would love to spray this thing im itching bad buttt... it wont hold with what im throwing at it now, i dont run tow tunes, millage tunes bla bla bla i just run one tune at a time and so far 2300 pulse is all i can pull of of it, anymore than that is just breakage!! I do not have deep pockets, there have been countless threads of people thinking im some rich kid, i wish all of you that that thought only new the truth of how hard its been to climb and scrape my way to where i have got!!
if there is any track in the world where an 8.9 would be possible its up there in canada, that track is awsome, that was one of the funnest races i have ever been too!!!Ennis Texas for the finals this year
That truck is badass Dmitri, 9.99 on that Allison in Edmonton last year, how about a 8.99 this year lol:woott:
hahaha thanks owen!! i have been working hard with ppe to get that kit top notch, should be an awsome setup for your rail buddy!!!!Good job, Dimitri. One of these days I get the rail done. We will see if it is easier to hook up then the truck. When I get some money I will talk to Dan about the turbos, since you worked all the bugs out for us. :woott:
thanks mack, and your right it does take alot of money, my biggest struggle is actually getting the the competitions, travel expenses are huge!! thanks for the kind wordsOk understandable. As far as the deep pockets comment what I meant was it takes lots of money to play in this sport or hobby either way you want to look at it. How you make it happen is none of my business and I would never ask nor speculate. You certainly have that truck moving, good luck :thumb:
Well, that explains it haha. Don't know if ill make the trip to Texas, but ill certainly make the effort
I thought it was an invite only race?
Yeah. And the coon asses are gonna have about 50lbs of fish and 50lbs of shrimp to fry.
