First of most you all know that Dmitri, (I prefer to call him shit stick:D) and I have had our differences. But, kudo's where kudo's are do. He drove it there, had so many damn bugs on it Friday night it looked more brown then red.
He got it out off the line great. Hooked well and flat boogied.:thumb: Ran acouple of lower 10's and the 9.994 in the first round of eliminations. The track manager met him at the shack where they hand out the time slips and gave him a warning. He kind of peddled it after that running in the 10.4 to 10.6 range and won the Super Street class. There were some good truck in that class, one really wanting to set a new record but couldn't get it done. Dmitri and two or three of the prostreet trucks where the only ones to get into the 9's. I don't think the truck currently weighs what Dmitri gave me for a weight when I posted it. We didn't weigh it but I guess it's in the mid 6000's some place. He will end up adding a little weight to get legal to run 9's but probably not too much. That is the absolute best I've ever seen an Allison perform with serious power, period. The truck sounds good, gone is all that ratty timing sound that it use to have and cleans up very well. I didn't ask him how much NOS he was running but just before is 9.99 run they repreped the track and were yelling at him to get his ass in gear and get to the line. He was in the bed messing with the NOS bottle.:eek:

As any of you can imagine, you could hardly peal him off the roof of his truck when he got his time slip. Congrats Dmitri for having a true 9 sec daily driver.

Yeah i got to see this pass in person and it was AWESOME! He is a great guy, chatted with him throughout the day, congrats buddy.

Yea kinda what got him a permanent vacation from Comp D.

Congrats Dmitri!! I was talking to the guys from XDP when they were at the DPC and they said the truck is a work of art, hope i can see it in person one day:thumb::thumb:

You are right Wade does not have a clue...

Hey thats what i was told it was a while ago, remember he has a bad azz sterieo system in there too, subs and all, dont know if it in there or not , but i know at one time it was that heavy... just got off the phone with him about 7200 lbs race weight......!!!

But who cares you'll never go that fast...except with your mouth.

Thank you everyone, this thread means alot to me, i cant tell everyone thank you enough!!!!!!!:hug::hug: Im still speach less after this weekend, my hats off to that track in edmonton for the best track prep i dare say i have ever seen, there staff and crew are top notch!! Randy cole and his crew for the invite and chance to make the world finals!!! Aron from ct for letting my truck through tech. If there was ever a race to plan for in the future i would go there a thousand times over!! Shawn ellerton, Tory and drever, and many others in the pits through the day, thank you for your help as i was running around like a chicken as usuall :rofl: I have been to alot of races, but none with the support and help of so many different people and teams that came together up there to put 15+ supper street trucks in the 10s with none slower than a 10.7, in a battle royal for one of the most epic drag races i have ever attended!!! Two arch rivals "subman" and "I" shaking hands and keeping drag racing sivil, i know now after seeing his post that he was genuin at the track and in person, we have had our differences as he stated but are able to over come them and keep racing at the track a good time!! Ken thank you for the post and above, your the last person in the world i would have expected that from, none the less thank you!! What you said to me stands higher than the past:hug: I feel this is a great time to thank all down the long hard road to the 9,s. From the start drinking and riding golf carts through the streets at kat and pats house 6 years ago, waking up to pat drinking a coffee and tunning my truck while i was sleeping, saying go try this lol, thank you pat and kat for being there from the start:hug: Dan at ppe for letting me put my first gt4202 turbo install kit on tab while i made payments, to being on of the biggest sponsers i have right now, with out those twin turbos ppe built and sponserd for the 2010 dpc, my truck would not be the power house it is today, thank you dan and joe for all your help!!! Matt at gillette diesel in utah for always letting my tab parts when i had no money trying to make it from race to race, and all your help through the years, thanks matt!!!! Thank you Mike L for the best tranny i have ever had the privliage of owning, you took my truck in 2010 for the dpc with money out of your own pocket and sent me to the challenge in hopes that on day i would put a full boddied crew cab in the 9,s here we are mike and thank you!!!:hug: Cody, brett, and brady from industrial for pump and injector support, there has been a tight buget this year and when in need there were no question asked just product sponserd as needed this year to keep me out there, thanks guys!!! As ken had mentioned my truck is not the rattle trap it used to be thanks to steve, ss tunning out of arizona, that kid has a gift with efi live, as i have changed it alittle over the last year, i didnt stray very for from the master hahaha thanks man!!! Dallas and joe at suncoast have done everything they could to help as much as they could, tho the road to dpc was a tad rocky in 2011, there still at the top of my sponser and friend list striving to build better product every day, thanks suncoast!!! James brendle at custom auto for finding me work and letting me use his shop as my storage unit lol, he is a big part to keeping my truck on the road and hope the future stays that way, thanks james and jermy!!!! Guy tripp, wow do i bug that guy alot lol, he has solved so many problems and tech support over the years i couldnt even begin to think of a bill if he made one lol thanks guy!!!! Wade moody for the new top end setup, you came into my truck late in the game but proved you had what i needed to make my truck where i wanted it to be, or if you didnt you found a way to get it, thanks man!!! Drake swett, trent nell, matt larson, wade boyde, tho i may not get along with one or the other we all came up together and have countless times help eachother out through the year, thanks guys!!! I could keep going for days but im sure you all sick of reading this lol, so in closing thanks everyone, the road has alomst ended for the crew cab, thanks for all your support and help through the years.:hug::hug:

The scales i have always been on set me right around 7050 to 7200 depending on the scale, the only thing i have taken off that truck is the hitch, back seat and front seat, second battery, and one leaf spring, but added a cage, 90 pound second turbo and kit, subs and amps full stereo system, and a spray in bedliner, Im not sure what it was at stock weight, but i have added as equal as much as i have taken off, paint was right that was with the 18 inch rims and toyo tires, i have never put it on a scale with the slicks, but my 18s are some what light weight, so i would say 7100 is a safe all around weight depending on how much nos i drink :rofl::D
