disgusting avatars

I looked at the site as a guest.
The guest can see the avatars/
On some sites only members can see the avatars.
As an outsider looking in maybe there is a way that they would not be able to see avatars until they are a member.
This would at least give the site some class.
There is also the legal aspect to look at.
At some point the site will need to look at the possibility of a disclaimer before you enter the site stating users are 18 or older and there is explicit material.
You may have to have the site listed as adult content.
I do not want any of those outcomes.
I don't know how practical this is, but turning avatars off to non-members and then having members click a box to turn on avatars and agree they are 18 years or older may be in order.
While Kari Sweets seems like a nice girl I am pretty sure a 12 year old child's mother seeing her in rainbow stockings may consider that unacceptable and report the site which is just going to be as "cool" as all these "cool" avatars.
Sorry to create problems for you, but my ultimate interest is in a sustainable content and family site.
I don't think any of my concerns affect the quality of content of a Duramax Diesel truck site.
One which I will proudly say is the best as far as content, and class on the Internet.:thumb:
Have you ever watched the Victoria Secrete Fashion show on TV? Its not rated MA. Kids can watch it. I see more in a shopko ad then on here. Its not like there is bad parts exposed. We need these pictures to point kids in the right direction.

Don't let your kid look at whatever they want on the computer. This site is the least of their worries. Maybe if we get a sign that says BEWARE GOOD LOOKING SCANTILY CLAD WOMEN AND DURAMAX DIESELS on the home page. I don't think that would deter anyone, ever. These are good honest people pursuing something they enjoy and guess what hotrod guys typically like women and alcohol. Should we scrub the women off of old war planes too? If you don't like it, don't look at it.
i think the avatars that are blowing black smoke are way more offensive then anything ive seen in this thread :thumb:

If you are Full Race, smoke is OK. It's not desirable on the street.

Growing up I am sure one thing that I liked about the hot rod books was the pictures of the women and booze.
I just was over on PSA and there they have a user who has 2 latino men together in a bath tub something about jesus&jesus.
There are allot of other nasty ones over there.
That was what I wanted to avoid here.
This was my original post no where do I point out that any one member in particular or any particular picture etc.
It was a general statement that overall the images were moving further away from a swimsuit and beer sitting on the hood to a more explicit and vulgar display.
I never said I did not enjoy the view only that that I felt things were beginning to approach a line and I asked the administration to set a guideline, which they did.
No one has said that the guidelines have been breeched or that anything is beyond acceptable.
Only that there is a line and now we have 2 clear conditions.
No smoke and keep it pg-13.
