I only read the allison aftermarket, 3dr gen electronics and bench racing ( just to get a good laugh). I throw a dig about auto forum everyonce in awhile.

I was reading there and diesel page before I had my dmax. Back then I did get some good tech from members that are now here or over at the truck stop.

I resently upset a mod with my opinion about the place and auto forum but don't expect anything to come of it.

Like my sig over there says it used to be a good site.

Ok personally I could care less for diesel place, but I find it really obnoxious that its become "hip" and "cool" to hate on the diesel place here. Is there some initiation routine for Duramax Diesels? To complete your membership here and really become 'one of the gang' you must commit one act of "dumping on dp". Once everyone has joined in on the thread, giggled, high-fived, patted you on the back, and made you feel cool/better about yourself, THEN you can call yourselves part of the Duramax Diesels family. :hug:

Whats even funnier is that half of you clowns who always mock/'tee-hee!" the Diesel Place werent even around back when Diesel Place was "the" Duramax performance forum. There was a time when DP was (god forgive me) maybe even "better" than this forum here now. I say that because it has all of the tech that Duramax Diesels has now, but it had even more people (compared to DD) contributing to that tech. THIS ENTIRE FORUM (and durmax forum, and diesel spot, and dmax central, etc) wouldnt even exist without DP. And for you really old school guys, The Diesel PAGE. Yeah, we should probably make fun of Diesel Page too, no one goes there anymore, so its probably worthless and should have never even been founded. OH BUT WAIT...the Page spawned the Place, and the Place spawned Duramax Diesels, so hmm......

We all know what the diesel place is now, and we all know what duramax diesels is now, let it go....no one gives a crap and no one (at least not me) isnt going to think you're cool and/or funny if you make fun of Diesel Place, Steve Cole, etc..

No offense intended, but thats just a rant I have...FWIW, Ive been banned from DP for the past 2 weeks...but I didnt feel the need to go around telling everyone.

Meh, I was a member on DP for a long ass time, back when it wasnt DP. about 2-3 years ago I forgot my login info and just created a new on (since I just got my LMM it made sense). They banned me right away for that, then I talked to the admins, and they fixed it and I was back. I came over here while still a good standing member over at the DP because, well many people moved over here. After the DP sold, the place started getting bad, and people were being banned left and right. If you stood up for yourself or anyone, you were banned too. I was sent on vacation for arguing with a mod that didnt know what he was talking about, even another mod posted he was wrong, yet I still got sent away. When I came back I barley posted there, just read, then something happened and they banned me again saying I put a price and link in a post and wasnt a vendor, that thread is still there today and no price is posted, nor a link and no edit either.....they messed up, and wouldn't own up to a mistake. So then I gave them a reason for my ban.

I like it here, its always been a good place. there is drama as on any forum, but for the most part, everyone still ends up getting along. and would pretty much still help anyone out in person.

Dont call me a DP basher, I tried to like that site and they pushed me away and I could care less. I dont feel the need to provide them with any free content.
