I know theres more than this come one guys. i was banned 2 times because of tring to defend myself and my rig sence im the only one that drives it.

If it wasn't for the for sale section I'd say all of us that havent been baned should make a visit all at the same time and finish it off. Make em real busy for a couple hours playin clean up. :stirthepot::villagers::shifan:
Not much over there except the for sale section. I keep up the quick 50 list over there, looks like a lot of it now is the 6.5 and 6.2 guys. Frankly I'm finding all of these diesel forums pretty dead now days, including this one. Hell Pat doesn't even post much on here anymore.
Ok personally I could care less for diesel place, but I find it really obnoxious that its become "hip" and "cool" to hate on the diesel place here. Is there some initiation routine for Duramax Diesels? To complete your membership here and really become 'one of the gang' you must commit one act of "dumping on dp". Once everyone has joined in on the thread, giggled, high-fived, patted you on the back, and made you feel cool/better about yourself, THEN you can call yourselves part of the Duramax Diesels family. :hug:
Whats even funnier is that half of you clowns who always mock/'tee-hee!" the Diesel Place werent even around back when Diesel Place was "the" Duramax performance forum. There was a time when DP was (god forgive me) maybe even "better" than this forum here now. I say that because it has all of the tech that Duramax Diesels has now, but it had even more people (compared to DD) contributing to that tech. THIS ENTIRE FORUM (and durmax forum, and diesel spot, and dmax central, etc) wouldnt even exist without DP. And for you really old school guys, The Diesel PAGE. Yeah, we should probably make fun of Diesel Page too, no one goes there anymore, so its probably worthless and should have never even been founded. OH BUT WAIT...the Page spawned the Place, and the Place spawned Duramax Diesels, so hmm......
We all know what the diesel place is now, and we all know what duramax diesels is now, let it go....no one gives a crap and no one (at least not me) isnt going to think you're cool and/or funny if you make fun of Diesel Place, Steve Cole, etc..
No offense intended, but thats just a rant I have...FWIW, Ive been banned from DP for the past 2 weeks...but I didnt feel the need to go around telling everyone.

Hey thanks for all those times that you've ignored my posts or pm's.:hug: I've been nice enough to put that behind me and post in your threads where you ask for something. I've read enough posts over the last 5 years to get a pretty good opinion but I keep it to myself. I'm not here for personal gain or membership status
but just here to have fun, joke around(this thread),read tech, and help people out if I can.

Over on the efi forum you asked for a tune file, wasn't a big deal you coulda got it anywhere. Like I said if it was intentional you'd know what I was talking about thats why I said drop it. Just seams like you have your own agenda you come across ignorant most of the time, if one is not your buddy or theres no gain, there is no interest.
That's odd, I've seen him on several forums giving people advice helping alot of people who don't have a clue. Hell! I never met or talked to him before and he drove almost 2hrs to help me get my truck to run. I must say-the truth is, your ignorant to make such a comment.
Well maybe I am ignorant just seams like I get the old silent treatment whenever I post in one of his threads or ask him a question. He made a comment about what was clearly a joke that seamed like he was trying to belittle so I made a comment back. I'm glad he has helped you I don't know him personaly, and I know he's helped others wich is nice of him, I don't expect anything from him and he didn't know what I was talking about so maybe it was'nt intentional.

I got into enough arguments with the old DP Staff (Mac and I used to go rounds, so did Chad and I) that I was kind of surprised I didnt get banned years ago. Thanks guys for not hitting that button back then.
I get along with the new Staff alright. Some are a bit over-zealous in their actions, but there were guys like that on the old Staff too. They're just trying to do their job while being handcuffed by a bad owner who doesnt know anything about diesel trucks or how to run a decent forum. Its not a good situation.
I continue to be an active member at DP because I respect and prize loyalty and friendship more than most things. I met many people I consider friends through that site. I feel very grateful that many people took the time over the years to answer my questions (and there were a lot of really out-there ones) and in general help me understand my truck. All that information helped me get her running the way she did and then reach the goals I set. I feel I have a responsibility to new people to pass on what you all taught me over the years.
DP is where most of us started. Not many of us would know our vehicles inside and out like we do if it werent for that site. It will always be a "give-and-take", and some take more than they give, while others give far more than they take (Ben and Pat come to mind). I think some of you may have forgotten that over the years.
