thanks for the support everyone:hug: im going to have a blast :happy2: it would be way to bold for anyone to count a win out there in any part of that competition, one event at a time any thing can happen i just want to be a good competitor for the challenge and hope i stay together through it all. ill tell all you guys what would be awsome, would be to stay together and line up with maxed out in the t.s event :happy2::happy2: and maybe have ken for breakfest in white out:hello::rofl:
Congratuations on being picked Dimitri, we (Rob and I) will be showing up on Thursday the 6th probably in the afternoon to get ready for TS with Max'd Out. White Out isn't going east, too much to do to be messing with 2 trucks.
Better dial it back a little and finish the Challenge before you worry about racing anyone in TS. When I went with Rob to the last challenge they held in SLC, looked to me you don't necessarily have to win any of the events, just don't finish lower than second or third in any of them. Drag racing is getting a good pass in early then wait and see how it goes, be ready to make another pass late if you need to. Obviously choosing the best tire for all the events is very important. Be good to find out what the pulling track is like before hand to make the best choice.
Hopefully they stick to their guns on the rules, that has not always been the case in the past. The event was supposed to be an all around test for street driven trucks, it has evolved way beyond that in many cases.
The two things I saw at the event I attended that I didn't think was quite right was allowing someone other than the registered driver to dyno the truck and they held up the competition too long waiting for a broken truck to make it back. If they establish a time frame for each event then they should stick to it period, it's not fair to the trucks that are still running to wait for a broken one beyond the event time limit.
