Broke piston it looked like, Scary sight for sure, not a good feeling to hear that sound or see the oil everywhere.

i still have some hope in newly. i know he can put that power to the track so this will be good either way

FB shows that the track is prepped for today.....hopefully it isnt midnight before we see the results today lol.

How runs does everyone get anyway? Or is it a free for all, best time gets it?

When I ran the DPC, you ran as many times as you wanted, and handed in your best slip.

With his new tranny set up I'm really hoping dmitri might see 9's kinda doubt it cuz of the altitude. And doubt he has it dialed in all the way. But hey I can hope lol

The bottle is not affected by altitude nearly as much as N/A engine, if at all.

I know when we did it, we were prohibited from changing weight or tires. So you can't run slicks, and you need to run heavy. Hopefully they've changed that. Not really safe to run dirt tires on the strip with huge HP, ditto for weight, lighter is safer.

Thanks Pat....kinda what I figured. be ****ty to be limited to only a few runs. Especially seeing most of the guys have prob never raced there before.

I'm interested to see what today brings. Dmitri should see some good times if the Duraflite runs like it should. Newly should as well. But I still want to know what happen to Owen's motor. And I really wish they would post vids, and not just pictures in the blogs.
