Have been wanting to add a Denali console for 3 years now. Finally found one relatively local to me (shipping costs not too high) with a reasonable price in better than good condition (not perfect). Included the sub and -454 LUX amp (which works great, so now I have a spare!) I had the trim pieces already, and other than a few chips in the finish, they are in great shape. I used my Sierra wire harness for now, until I figure out which pins to move in the Denali harness to make it work.

Install is easy as heck (at least to me). Two 10mm bolts in the front, four screws on the sides and four screws holding the inside metal support to the base, and you can interchange the consoles. Only took about 1-1/2 hours to do, as you pretty much have to take the console apart to get to those last four screws. Nice added benefit was I was finally able to put that SOB 3rd screw in for the black HVAC kick panel thats been out since 2005!

I found a Denali handle on Ebay. It matches the console lid, with the stitched pattern. Theres also another handle available thats all Blackwood, no grey leather/plastic. Thought that was kinda cool. Decisions, decisions...

Looks good. Did you buy it with the NAV unit and disc changer? How much $$?

No....Ive had those since 2005, during all the original LUX madness. They were Ebay steals that have worked beautifully. The console cost me $110 shipped to my door.
Thinking back, the NAV cost me ~$200 because it had a mar in the screen...hell, you cant see it when the radio is on.
The changer cost me $100...it had a small chip in the outer frame that you'll never see, the amp ~$150 Buyitnow..I couldnt pass that up. Thats back when the costs for Denali/Esky stuff were outrageous. Im not all that picky about small "beauty" marks...my interior is.....how can I say it....""lived in". Yeah, thats a nice way to put it.

Trust me....I spent a lot of time on Ebay searching, using different terms, to find all that. Luck played a huge role. Back then, TNR navi units were going for $800-up, amps were going for $300+, then changer prices went skyhigh to $300. Heck, my nav disc was a gift from another Michigan DP member...he refused to take any $$ for it.

Not picking at your truck tom... Just giving your ideas for your free time:hello:

I know. Its just more self-depreciating humor on my part. :)

Heck, Ive still got one more window to install on the house (today) and then its on to insulation, then into the kitchen to take a window out and extend the countertop and cabinets, then change the pantry setup to fit a larger window into south wall, then reside the house...man, it never ends. Hell, I was going to attempt to finally get that downpipe fitted this week, too....plus replace that bum FPR....good god i have too much to do....

Dont feel bad. My truck does not exsist right now. We have our first child coming towards the end of october. My kitchen is gutted along with my lower level bathroom and the nursery isnt done yet either. I have got to keep busy because we will have many inlaws coming in from out of town once the little guy hits ground. Anyone handy with remodel? Come on over:D
