Why have one tractor when you can have 4? A loader when you need a loader, a pulling tractor for pulling, a cadet for mowing and small plowing, and a dozer for no reason :D

Well, I guess I have no reason; I seem to be getting by with 3...:D I have to admit, I have thought about getting rid of them all and getting a single new sub-compact with all of the attachments....but this works for me for now.

Curious what its worth? I paid $1,700 but have not found to many for sale to compare pricing on line.... Either way I think I am going to hang onto it, I could have bought 5 of them for what I have paid the lawn guys in the last 5 years, lol...

Thanks. When we got into this property I looked at a lot of old iron. Buddy of mine had 2 old Landlords that were pretty substantial machines. Ended up with Green and have just stuck with it.

I would love to find a 55, not easy to find and the ask is usually nuts...

Not having to swap out blade for blower in the middle of winter or mounting and unmounting the MCS in summer is worth having multiple units for me. I looked into adapting my first tractor to quick hitch blade and blower. I bought the 318 for less than the conversion would have cost.

The 322 is sweet, smooth and quiet unit. It is sort of the "forgotten" one in the 300 line. I wouldn't hesitate to have one, good luck with the sale

I'd say you and the seller should sleep well. You might be able to turn it for a bit more, but it is a great little tractor, just use it. The 316 and 330 are the dumbed down versions of the 318 and 332. This means manual steering, no turning brakes and single hydraulics. The one that is a pain is the single hydraulics since it doesn't have a float position like the H2 valves do. This makes it a pain to use a front blade, especially on gravel. That is why my 316 is a mower and blower unit as the 49 blower has float built into the mount.

Is this thread now officially hijacked? :D

Can you change the hyd. valve and have the float function then? I sure love it on the 332 I have. I need to buy a pair of ag/bar tires for my back end sure better in dirt and snow with the blade work. Turf tires change out fast with mow deck anyway really. I was surprised how much snow a 332 can push in a pile off asphalt or concrete if it's chained up. Neighbor kids love big piles to do snow forts but I'll build them big piles even if it takes a while it keeps them shoveling and building for days!!!!!!!!

Colt, I've read that the manual steering box on the 316 and 330 prevent the dual spool valve from the 318/332 from being a direct swap.

That said, there is an outfit called auxillary hydraulics.com that has an H2 conversion kit for the 316/330 that appears to use stock H2 parts and is supposed to be bolt in. If I only had one H1 tractor the ~$300 ask for the kit would be worth it.
