Fuel is dumping out of the plug underneath the regulator... Truck is going back to stock :)

MAN! I really hope this ain't the case with my truck. I walk outside of Lowes today and see a little puddle of fuel under my truck. The other day it threw a P0093 code which is something like low rail pressure during power enrichment and the truck has seemed sluggish. I figured my trans was finally gone and it was just soaking up the power to the wheels. (The trans is shot, rebuilding this weekend). Since then I haven't seen the code during WOT pulls but my trans revs itself out and won't shift until I let off, then it shifts and takes off in that gear. Desired rail pressure was approx 25,300psi and actual rail pressure was approx 25,850psi. Anyways the whole underside of my truck is doused in fuel, but not so badly it's affecting my fuel economy noticeably. I know it's fuel because when I wipe it off, it becomes clean. I'm thinking maybe fuel return line has a leak? In the past my PPE ported rail fitting leaked but that's tight... Idk. Any ideas? LLY 217,000 miles. Oil was fine. Just did my oil change on Saturday.

As much as I hate the look of dual fuelers under the hood, I'd hate to have a modded single pump fail on me like that...

This thread actually helped me make the decision to run dual pumps...

Thanks Paint? But sorry for your luck, I seem to have the same string of luck you do, bad luck:rolleyes:

This thread is 2 years old. But your prolly right about return line, prolly off an injector. If your cp3 failed like paints and mine you'll be out of fuel in a short trip. It will be steady stream leaking at idle, the case cracks

I know the threads 2 years old, I used the search bar to find it because if I didn't somebody would have said "Next time try using the search bar". I once lost 3/4 of a tank in about 8 miles due to a POS PPE ported rail fitting that wouldn't stay tight. Was wondering why the van behind me was using wipers on a clear sunny day.... When the trans is out I'll take a look for a leak. Thank You.

Oh this thread brings back memories... At idle I could see with every stroke that the plunger made fuel was just dumping out.
