Use an LMM sensor and a voltage divider circuit, and voila, voltage!
Good point! But the "Fuel economy inst" message is pre-programmed into the cluster, it only receives the single numerical value at a time from the ECM. Its not getting the entire full text message from the ECM.
Between slow Class 2 (10.4kbps), and the cluster having to process and display each message, thats probably where the limitation is.
Palmer would be the one to answer the details....
Biggest thing I hate is the rail pressure. The numbers shift over when you go above 9,999
Of those that have it, do you like it? Are there things you don't like about it?
Also I don't like that you cannot directly hook up an EGT gauge
What EGT gauge do you have? We can connect with PLX EGT or any gauge that has an analog output. http://www.palmerperformance.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=68
That will work I didn't see that.
Any chance on getting the rail pressure from shifting?
Dash logic...
How's the progress coming on the 2015's?
We are hunting for a 2015 to test out, then we will have it. We know it does work on the new truck, we have put text up there but didn't have time to finish all the work.
Sub'd - Waiting to see when this will be out for a 2014 LML
