Who’s tried the 68/71 combo with twins? Curious if anyone has done back to back testing of the 68/68 vs 68/71.

I had the 68/71 witch a s485. Combo was a blast, very DD friendly, amazing topend power. That combo hurt a lot of feelings.

How'd the turbo brake work on that 68/71? Being it's super streetable.

Think it would be worth the upgrade from a stage 2 3794?

Hopefully one day i can have my truck as a strict play truck too! But until then, it's hauling dump trailers and excavators. I love the 3794, but could always use a bit more

From my understanding the 3794 framed 68s are much more streetable. I had a 4094 68r and it wasn't what I wanted for driveability (paired with a 1058, I think converter was a decent part of it). I just did some work on a customers truck with one of Marks 3794 based 68mm drop ins and damn was it impressive.

That's my next move is to bump it up to a 68mm.

So what is the 3794 exhaust side. If a 68 stg2 r is a 68/68.

Then he now has a 68/71, Wonder what the exhaust size is on the 3794... 66?

Yes, 66mm turbine in the 3794va's. The 71 is intended for guys looking for the extra topend power as it is worth another 40hp over the 68mm turbine when combined on a 68comp wheel max effort. Touch less down low compared to the 68mm turbine but better mid and topend power. None of them will keep up with the 66mm down low period.
