Well not a lot to report atm. I did get the truss welded onto the rear axle.
Toby at Triple X was originally going to send some fairly simple brackets to locate the links on for the rear on the frame and then decided to go ahead and develop a full on rear kit. He purchased a CCSB truck like mine to get all the dimensions on and is going to make a complete crossmember for the rear with a pillow block already built in for a 2-piece drive shaft.
It should be well worth the wait. No point in rushing it now I figure snow will be here soon... LOL! My truck is no trailer queen but I refuse to drive it in the salt. Hell I don't even like to drive in the rain.
The cross member Toby is designing will replace that the factory half driveshaft looking hoop cross member in the back. Once it gets here I will know exactly what I have to remove back there and where I will have room for a fuel tank.
Other than that I have been doing little stuff egr delete using LB7 bridge. replaced the intercooler with BD Diesel intercooler and changed the boost pipes. Was debating wether or not to go with the new batmo wheel for my stock charger. Could really use some EGT relief with big tires
Plumbing up the brakes on the fron this weekend. Then all will be left is to put on limit straps and bump stops but I really need it all together before I can fine tune the lenghts for all that stuff. Then get a driveshaft measurment.
Here are some picks of the rear truss installed and a link to Toby's article in Four Wheeler magazine.
