I get to have surgery again... Yay. Dr. Screwed up pretty bad. Have quite a few things wrong with my hardware and that golfball chunk of bone isn't supposed to be floating around like that....

That sucks to hear, how much more time before your healed up? I know a lady who had surgery but they left 3 tools inside her when the stitched her back up. She got alot of money for that one lol

My god, that looks like half the top of the femur broke off. You may be in for a long recovery, even if you stay off your feet for a while. Good Luck, Jacob.

Way too busy with work and play to go see my new doctors. I have a few thousand acres of hay left and a few tid bit's of fall tillage to do, and then I have a 9 day hunting trip planned before I can make it to the other docs. I have a temp handicapped permit so I can hunt from four wheelers and UTV's and shoot from the road. I'll know more in late October-Early November. I will be seeing a specialist and one that is trained in trauma. This whole ordeal has been a fiasco. We had just started remodeling our house when I did this, so that is another project that needs to be finished.

I also have bad head gaskets and a burnt transmission in my lb7. lol It's been a hell of a year!

Ouch! I have had my fair share of breaks (21). I can't imagine quitting riding though.

Just an update. Going in for surgery the 3rd of Dec. Going to remove the old hardware, do a bone graft from my pelvis, and re-insert a different style of hardware. Hoping and praying it heals correctly this time. I'm sure going to work 3-4 weeks after didn't help my healing process the first time. Hahaha. Wish me luck!

I truly know how you feel. I have the same exact scar. They never did get me right. I hope your recovery goes better.

So far I feel good. I have alot more confidence in my Dr. And felt some immediate relief. He was able to get my leg length back to within an 1/8 of an inch which is awesome. Now I just have to take it easy and heal!
