Awesome, thanks Josh.:thumb: Gives me a better idea how it works. I'd imagine it'll be basically the same or similar with the Cummins.

I was thinking that either the sensor or ECM only sees up to ~44psi. I know there's a limit there somewhere

I know on the LBZ EFILive can log a maximum of 52.7 PSIA of MAP.

This sounds like a pretty time-consuming process to fine tune your truck, especially if you're wanting to make small changes here and there, then flash it, then drive to feel and log the results.

I'm guessing it's not like 7.3 Powerstrokes, where you can plug in and make changes to the tuning as you drive and feel the results right away, then flash it to keep the changes.

Demo mode is caused by incorrect registration details in the EFILive software. Double check your registration details and pay particular attention to the date format.

When you have FlashScan connected to your PC, the details in FlashScan override the EFILive registration details, so you are right to flash.

Whilst I understand your frustration around updating software and firmware, it's a necessary evil. Customers want a tool that can be enhanced in the field, and that can add support for vehicles as they are released. They don't want to continually purchase new hardware or send units away for upgrading purposes.

Cheers
Cindy

November 30 is that latest stable public release of the 2.07.04 firmware version. There are builds with the same 2.07.04( we do this so beta and pre-release users can easily downgrade) that are dated later. Unless you are running a pre-release version you shouldn't expect your firmware to show a later date than November 30.

Just yesterday we posted this pre-release update which actually increments the firmware version to 2.07.05.

Here are a couple of knowledgebase articles that provide more detail on software and firmware updates:
- Software
- Firmware

As Cindy points out it is essential that you continue to update your software and firmware as they are made available. Not only do you get additional functionality, vehicle support and resolutions to known issues, we also cannot support customers running obsolete product. If you have an issue and are not on the current release we will always insist that you upgrade before investigating further.
