Cranks for 2 seconds and quits

Now I've read a few things that say I should have 12v to both sensors.anybody know what's correct? If I'm supposed to have 12v at the cam sensor but I only got 5,that very well could be the problem.

I have no clue about the LLY's just know thats exactly what they said about the LBZ's in the Kodiak I have 5000$ later and 6 months wasted its what made mine run.

I trust you know more than I do on these things just tossing out my experience. :hug:

This is for my 2008 LMM:
Crankshaft Sensor - 5V reference circuit
Camshaft Position Sensor - 5V reference circuit

Pin 1 - Sensor signal (Output)
Pin 2 - Low Reference (Ground)
Pin 3 - 5V reference (Input)

You would do yourself a favor if you subscribed to ALLDATADIY or similar. Lots of information makes doing repairs much easier when you have some reference material and don't have to guess.

Here’s a little rant about trying to help people you don’t know... I loaned this guy my spare lly ficm, I even rush shipped it to him because I felt bad he had been having so much trouble. Anyway he pms me that it didn’t work and he was going to send it another shop and let them have a go at it... Apparently that meant my ficm must have gone with it... Any who Merry Christmas Richard Rock I hope you get or got what’s coming to you. If I’m ever in your neck of the woods I’ll look you up;)
