After installing the Lenco trans I removed all tcm and associated wires

I have a ECM tune built from a zf6 truck but I'm a little worried that it won't crank over if it does not see a signal saying the truck is in park or the clutch is not pushed in?

Anyone know how to get around this?

Is there a input in the ECM that is used?

Is it possible that you could wire in some sort of push button that you hold in while you crank it kind of simulating the clutch being pushed in?

I'm almost positive I started mine without the tcm plugged in. I think the only think that inhibits cranking then is the shifter detent on the ignition

But did you have the nsbu plugged in?

I will need to some how tie this in to the Lenco shifter also as my track will want to see that it doesn't start in drive

Fwiw there is a wire that comes off my Lenco for this exact reason but I don't know where to tie it in on our trucks

I think it would be the orange and black wire from the NSBU, Park/Neutral Signal.

I did have the NSBU plugged in. It wouldnt crank with it unplugged

Ok thanks I'll have to go back farther than that then. I don't have a nsbu

I wonder if it gives a signal to the ECM ? Hmmm

There is also the p/n position switches c1 & c2 where the orange/ black wire also goes into. These are the obviously what plugs into the nsbu

11 different wires.... Hoping this isn't going to be to complicated or a mess of wires:D

Josh I don't have any pics of the orange and black wire yet:D

But here is some of the Lenco it's been in/out quite a few times I had to do this to make sure the adapter plate would work as the quick times bell housing was for a small block I had to build a thick palte to compensate for the larger converter.1" thick plate

Also had to. Cut a hole in the floor for the fed/ rev shifter and needed to cut a bit of the tunnel to fit the scs t-case

the duct tape covers the holes for the ACD shift solenoids

Looks pretty sweet, Simon. Got any pictures of the trans and transfer case in the truck?
