Anyone in here a member of the pork family?... Feel free to chime in and set is all straight.
Make sure you puff out your chest, and talk to us like we're all 6 yrs old... Like you've been trained.
Bloody useless. (traffic/highway cops)
The real fun part comes when you actually need a cops help lol. Good luck.
I can't imagine getting up every day, going to work, knowing that all you do is provide a disservice to the public. what a sad pathetic life.

HAd plenty of BS tickets, pulled over twice as much.

Mud flaps (az law on lifted trucks(not SUV's))
tint
speeding
drag racing
blah blah...

Ive met some real down to earth cops and some newb's who think there going to change the world.

I now carry a video camara with me. They love to be on 'record'..NOT

The ones who piss me off are the guys who sit in their car all day, while its running, not doing chit. Lazy ass Mofos.

Your going about this all wrong.

What's the right way?
After going out of my way to extend as much courtesy and respect as I could, I was met with disrespect, and zero explanation for it. This leaves me with a loss of respect for that person and those like him.
Is the right way is to conform or leave?....

Just cause one cop is bad, doesn't mean they all are. I mean look at Denzel in training day, he got what was coming.

Lol he's Canadian.... And I feel the same way about his cops as he does:D

They really got no sense of humor. They didn't even catch me speeding and still gave me a ticket, because I admitted to speeding to pass about 6 cars... Some Douche said I ran him off the road passing the other cars. I told the cop I wasn't even close to this clown, didn't matter I still got 175 dollar ticket. Simon said I shouldn't have paid it but my luck I would end up in the crowbar motel next time through Alberta:rolleyes:

Most cops are asswipes... period. However some are really decent, and down to earth human beings trying to make a difference... nice when you run across one every now and then :thumb:

My record is horrible.. 16 seatbelt tickets, 7 speeding, and a reckless driving along with tint and exhaust and other dumb ones but i deserved most of them. I dont mind taking a tickect i deserve if the cop dosent act like some type of robot with no sense of humor when he talks to me.

Not to offend but don't you think after seatbelt ticket number 10, you would just start wearing it?

Well, Im kinda on his side.. I dont prefer the Government telling me I have to wear it. Or anything else for that matter. Im sure its backed by the INS Companies, so they can deny your claim and lower their overhead.

Give them an inch, they will take 2 feet and Tax your ass for 3 feet.

You know it is THE LAW satrting JAN 1, helmets required in UTV's in Comufornia?
Whats next? NO GUNS? NO diesel performance.

Sooner or later they will stick their greedy effn hand in something you enjoy. by then, they will have a hand in everything we do..

Rants Over.

x2 i feel that if you want to have your seat belt on you cant but should be the law look at bikes we don't even have a cage no front licenses plates no seat-belts so why in a car does this matter??? Along with bikers using helmets it should be your own decision it doesnt effect anyone else but yourself if you go down. and as a Firefighter EMT and Military Police i have seen my share of accidents for all the above and it all depends on the scenario.

Laws are created because society wants them. If we didn't we would hold more people personally responsible for their own stupidity.

Why the ***k should McDonalds pay out several million dollars because some dipshit is too asinine to drink hot coffee without burning themselves. Just one of the many instances when the legal system in the country blames the manufacturer/business instead of the dumb ass. Now we have luke warm coffee, which can be applied to seat belts, helmets whatever. If you want to fly through the windshield or eat pavement go ahead, just don't ask me to care or pay your medical/funeral/disability bills.

A little off topic, oops. Sue me :roflmao:

I agree on the seatbelt or any law like that screw you get out of my personal space! It's my choice to make not yours!

For those that are anti cop believe me I know it's tough not to be but they all aren't useless. Yes some think they are above the law ,power mongers, etc etc . But not all the majority are no different then you or I .

No it's the stupid politicians that are elected that also appoint judges that rewrite the constitution because of laziness of people that hate this shit that don't vote! Remember that in a few months!

Judges and courts should not even entertain such stupidity and rule or give judgment on cases like this!

I hafta side with everyones rant and rave in here. From seatbelts to hot coffee. Cops are a 50/50 shot. And in everyones case, we all get that dick cop. Just puts a bad taste in your mouth for the next time ya deal with one. Espically when we did nothing, or wasnt doing anything for them to pull us over.

I agree 100%.
And honestly, I am starting to wonder if there is even anyone to vote for that will make it any better.

I would if there was somewhere better to go. Sadly, this is one of the better places to live in the world. Are you saying this country is perfect, nothing at all wrong with it? Is that why you'd rather people leave than try and fix a problem (that you clearly don't see as a problem)?

So instead of leaving, I do what I can to make it better. I feel that is what used to make this contry great. Instead of just being flippant or ignoring problems, people used to do what they could to make this country better.

On topic, I have seen FAR more cops being asshats than being nice. I have been harassed on my fully street legal dirt bike several times because they don't like it. Usually just get a warning, as there is nothing illegal they can write me for. I only got pulled over for a real reason once (the running light had burned out earlier that day, and I didn't know). That was a legit fix-it-ticket, but I was still treated like a criminal the whole time. You'd have thought I just raped and murdered someone from the way I was treated, basically every time I get stopped on that bike.

I got a speeding ticket back in college for 15 over once when I was only doing 5 over. Why? Because the cop thought I wouldn't fight it (he saw the school parking sticker, out-of-state plates, and knew school was out in 2 days). If he had written me for 5 over (what I did), I would have paid it. But because he lied, I fought it on principle, and won. F***er.

I've only gotten 2 tickets in my life (the "15 over" one that got thrown out, and a legit 10 over that I paid without fighting), but I've been pulled over 7+ times. I've only ever been treated like a honest citizen ONE TIME out of that. WTF!? I am always polite, even when they are rude (which is most times). Something is very wrong here when people are assumed to be scum off the bat.

I never let a cop risk my life for a ticket.

I will never pull over in an unsafe area.

I am in charge of the safe operation of my vehicle, not anyone else.

If a cops hassled me for being safe, I'd be all over his boss and the mayor like flies on shit.

Cops nowadays are a f-ing joke, they have no respect for anyone and always have there hand on there gun like there ready to shoot you. I got pulled over once by some kid cop and he came up to my window with his hand on his gun and i asked why he was ready to shoot me and he just sat there with a dumbass look on his face. The only difference between them and criminals is the badge.
