Sounds totally normal to me. Anytime you change settings, the LEDs will light up for just a couple of seconds to show the setting, and then they go into a sort of boost gauge mode where they will light up progressively as boost comes up.

edit: Is it locking the converter???

hmm, i havent really just driven it around in race mod. i know it shifts more firm when on the upper levels but thats just the high line pressure. If you want me to go out and drive around just let me know what you want me to try and i can let you know the result.

not sure... im not sure the co-pilot is working as i increase the shift firmness the shifts don't seem any different than before?

if you don't mind that would be awesome... i didn't do anything internal to the trans ie Solenoid block or internal harness so maybe i won't feel a shift difference?

since we are on the topic, anyone else that has a copilot. have you compensated for it in your race tune? I ask because if i leave it on the lowest setting it will shift fast and everything seems ok, but if i run it in race the 2/3 shift will occur at only 3000rpm and is pretty harsh. what i had done is just add more defuel but i was wondering if there was a better way to do this? btw all i run is a stock tcm tune.

I would like to figure out how to tune this properly, i like race mode i always run at least .2 faster with it on. That makes me believe if i get it tuned properly it will help more.

i dont think it will change firmness since there is no added line pressure, i could be wrong but that is my thinking.

Just go out and hammer on it. When the green light comes on, the co-pilot is commanding TCC lockup. If it locks, it is working :thumb:

Shuting off is normal. When they start lighting up from left to right when driving, that shows the percentage of TC lockup.. My truck shifts best when the 2 leds in the middle are lit fwiw

I'm not sure. I think I bought it in 2007. I'll see what I can find on ATS's website.

the copilot works off tps thats why you hook that wire to the pedal sensor...it progressivly shiftd harder with throttle:thumb:

The higher the setting the firmer the shifts.

I couldn't find any mention in the instructions, but I found this picture. Mine would only light up at WOT in race mode.

Nick will only notice the lock up. He will not notice Anything from the lights being set at 123 or 4 he needs to hold it til it locks in race mod then go out and make a pass and see if it locks up.
