ok I have a new clamp design that works a lot better and looks cleaner. Im just waiting for the stickers/labels to come back, I would like to start shipping these end of this week; beginning of next week.

Im going to be writing instructions today. I have a list of people who have PM'd me so far and I will send them out in the order I receive orders for them.

the way the +/- button on the shifter works would require a voltage divider circuit or microcontroller (the tap-shift button is NOT just a momentary toggle switch) which would add cost/complication, and then of course you have to buy the shifter itself...

I hate to muck up Ben's thread and please feel free to remove this is you feel it is inappropriate, but can't this be done with TCM programming? I assume most are going to be using this to unlock the converter for 4th gear? That would be really easy. If you're wanting to do it to unlock it in 3rd, you could just make it so it unlocks if the wheel speed drops below a certain point.

That would work but would be to hard on different tracks as wheel speed varies so much on tight vs loose tracks. I never go off wheel speed as much as the sound of the motor.

^^exactly. Its all about feel and personal preference. Its a PITA to set a computer up to control your truck for each pull, add to that the fact that you dont know exactly when you will want it unlocking, and then it will just randomely happen and catch you off gaurd.

Its a lot nicer having control over things,

I'm no puller, so I have no idea. I was just wondering. Thanks for the explanation.

Yeah also with different sleds the weight boxes hit you different. Some are slow and you can wait longer to unlock but some will stop you dead in your tracks and you will have to be able to unlock very quickly.

Just wanted to let everyone know Im getting a bunch of parts in tomorrow to put together the first 'final production' batch of these. I know some of you said you had pulls coming up very soon and needed them ASAP. Make a note in this thread if you need yours rushed and I will get them out as soon as the parts arrive.
