How about one like this. I personally do not need one, but like mentioned, big and easy to see. It seems like you would want function not looks for competition.

This one just happens to be 60mm. They make it several different ways. NO, NC, Pull to reset, turn to reset, and key to reset. They even make switches with both NO and NC contacts in the same housing. Set one set of contacts to open the circuit to the converter and another set to close to a resistor to tell the TCM that the circuit is closed.

Doing it withOUT setting a code? I'm ears.

Been wiring them in for a while, using the light on the switch as an indicator that the converter is locked. Lights on, converter is locked.

I like the location Ben. Sign me up for one (nomatter cost)!

With the converter locked and the sled hitting and lifting off the throttle, the driveline will slow the motor enough to stall/snuff it if you don't throw it in nuetral. Unlocking the converter may alleviate this, but in my mind it's more to allow the motor to stay in a better RPM band as the sled hits for those with marginal power output and good traction......

so am I understanding correctly that you put in neutral at the end before you stop moving ?
I understand the unlock part and keeping rpm's up

You put it in neutral after forward momentum has stopped as you are lifting your foot off the accelerator pedal.
