Now this may not be the newest news out there as I would bet kory and maybe some others already can do this BUT...

I got a text from Steve the other day saying "I need your truck to confirm something for me". So head over there tonight. He says he can now have the converter lock when it's suppose without using any lock up box, just some tuning. I said hell yeah! That's all I've wanted!!

Sure enough, he pulls my tune, does some witchcraft, and loads it back in. Go for a drive and give her the goose from the bottom of third. Converter locks right in as it should and I giggle like a school girl. Come back around on our "closed course" and nail it from 1st gear. Hits second, locks half way through and I'm spinning into and through 3rd gear. I couldn't be happier!!! Never thought this would be available for the 5 speeds but it is somehow it seems and damn am I gunna kill some rear tires. I don't know what version he has, I don't know what tables he's using, all I know is this sucker works like a stock truck now!!

Now this bitch is parked as I tear the tcase out and rebuild it next week. She's about had it.

If this is what I logged for josh a while back, the lock up time is still slower than my lockup box. From what we could tell, the lockup box actually commands lockup in first gear and is full locked on the 1-2 shift. Using the TCM to command that lockup, it commands at the 1-2 shift and didn't full lock until close to the 2-3 shift. I left my lockup box on

Josh can tell you more than I can. I was just the test dummy! Lol

I have no idea if that's the same. Mine now just works like it did stock and locks when it's suppose to. You can feel it lock half through 2nd or there abouts like driving around in tow/haul

Its not "witchcraft"....

I'm having a little fun with my wording Ben. Obviously it's not.
