Considering a Lenco/Bruno

Started pricing out parts today for the trans and all other associated parts that would be needed

Talked to guy about the trans itself and priceing I want to remain 4x4
this has not been done but I think it would be cool as candy if it could be done for a reasonable price

started looking at adapter plates for the tcase and found out it would be easy just to use a race ready t case

lots of options and not sure if it will work but I would like to try it!

Is that one dodge (meechum Evans) not running a lenco? I know he has a profab transfer case.


NM I think he runs the dodge auto trans with clutch.

Allison is a great trans however I have a purpose built race truck
how many people that have purpose built race cars stick with stock trans?

I know mike can build a alli to hold a ton of power but he can't make it shift like a lenco not without a stand alone tcm any ways but that jmo

duraflight is a hype IMO and it ain't no race trans, lencos are race trans
it's not a bash to the alli it just being realistic as I don't want to stop at 9s I know our motors can do more!

I knew there was a good reason why we are friends:D You are f**kin nuts:hug: I too agree that a 47 or 48re is not even close to the answer... especially at 12,000$ plus tuning.

I have 2 freinds running 3 speeds from lenco automatic they both have trans brakes and leave the line at 40 psi

they have huge tire spin and only cut 1.5 60s now do that in a 4x4 and look out!

I'm just looking at doing something different that is all:)

I won't know untill I actually get into the trans it is possible that I did more damage

I made a ton of street passes and in hindsight wish I didn't and perhaps I could of made it through the event

isn't it a racers phyosphy tat if it breaks you move to the next biggest thing and then wait for the next carnage:D

haha pretty much! youjust keep building the links bigger till she can hold together for the lenght of time you see fit lol

Donovan from aromor inc runs a Bruno lenco and it very consistant

who the heck wants a dodge transcinour truck anyways lol

Josh we could actually use a stocker but since we need new shafts and a custom adapter plate we looked at a kit

I'll post up some links that Ted and I found today, Ted kept saying it ain't going to handle the tq butbi just kept saying the stocker isn't suppose to either:D
