Thanks everyone!!! It was nice to meet some new people and put some faces to names. It sure did fill good to win the event and set a record. The only proplem is I didn't get the record for very long. I didn't make weight! I was under by 10 lbs. I was having problems all day keeping the boot on the turbo and blowing coolant out the overflow. It's lifting the heads and has been for a couple of months. It's just gotten worse in the last couple outtings. If I would have just put the coolant back in it before they took it to the scales I would have been safe. I would have bet my kids on it weighing 6200 lbs!!! I guess I took more weight off than I thought I did. It crossed the scales at 5990! I just wanted to cry! I have raced a long time and never had a national record. I wanted it bad. But, I will say NHRDA is a stand up org.! They have rules and they go by them. Thats how it should be. After they told me I didn't pass I shock there hands and told them I commend them for sticking to there rules. Thats how a org. grows, By doing the correct thing. I just wish it wasn't me.lol!! O well Ken, Rob and Nathen you still have the record. I will try again so take it easy on me when you get it back together. Now I need to pull the heads and put some new gaskets on it so I can make Jess and Buks race. FWIW I did run a 6.6 1/8 with a back 1.7 60' time at a little over 105! I was running into boost issues on the line. I did have a 10.51 at 131 and change. It did 60 a 1.54 but then blew the boot off. Sorry for the rant but I had fun and just wanted to set the record strait. Jeff
