Wow a 10.73!!! That's smokn fast. I feel for you on the motor I know the time and money that goes into these things to get them running right. Hope things aren't to bad for you.

But man that sucks! That would be my biggest worry about a built motor, after you dump all that time any money into it just to blow it again.....I haven't gone around pricing parts but I know they ain't cheap, not like a gasser anyways, especially since every tom dick and hairy can't build one of these engines!

congrats on the time man, that 10.7 is a tuff wall to break i have been stuck there all year ha ha, i feel your pain buddy i just lost a piston as well. got a call from the machine shop this morning that the #7 piston skirt took out the oil squirter on #8 what are the odds of that ha ha , needless to say it got kinda hot

Hell yea Josh nice times. And Travis I know that truck has a lot of your blood sweat and spilled beer on it as well so congrats to you. Sorry about the motor tho hope it is a easy and fast fix. You still running Dustin's tuning?
thanks everybody for the congrats, it sucks about the motor but im not really too suprised. when you want to run in the 10's ive figured out its a very uphill battle. its fun when your there but stuff like this is likely to happen at any time.

chevydiesellly- no im not running dustins tuning anymore, tony(ridgerunner) came down and did some long needed in seat tuning.
joshH- they were stock lb7 cut and delipped. no coating. you really cant ask for any more then what they gave me.
as much as it sucks it broke, im really happy with the truck as a whole. i didnt think i would ever see 10.7's with stock heads, cam, intercooler, manifolds, uppipes. i cant complain one bit. the transmission that dustin built for me was flawless. it seems that everytime ive done something with the truck i find the next weak link. this time it just happened to be the motor. oh well, we'll fix it up better this time.

Again Josh i am sorry to hear about it, but i hope you get your truck up as soon as possible. i want to get over to that side of the state before i leave for Hawaii.

Congrats on the numbers you ran!! To push the stock pistons even though they were deliped that far is amazing. If I remember your truck from what I've read on here is heavy. Takes alot of power to move the weight and keep it moving with our awsome arrow dynamics we have lol.
