you going to try forged pistons?[/QUOTE]

no probably not, this truck is a street truck. i dont race in any kind of series or anything. i just wanted a 10sec street truck. ill probably do some things different this time but forged pistons wont be one of them.

I kind of had the same feeling when I built White Out, so I used those special built cast Mahle pistons that both TTS and SoCal diesel got and they were custom cut. Don't think you can get them anymore, but all the forged pistons that are out there running and some have a lot of street miles on them I'm not too sure that they may not be OK.

I don't have to agree ...:bs: Hell ya he was having a bad day ... just lost a motor that he helped Josh with ... what is so hard to figure out Einstein? Some times it is better to know when NOT to say anything. :thumb:

Are you Pete or RePete? Go back to bed and roll off on the other side would you...

For your clarity: I too agreed he had a bad day and yes read, just as you as too why. Travis is a real nice guy and would normally not post such a flame.

Einstein? Oh the interwebby.... :spit:

Congrats Josh and Travis! Thats great power for sure. Been there and broke that(couple times now) so I feel your pain. We all know how much I like the bottle, so take this for what its worth, but my cast pistons greatly outlasted my forged.(no thermal coatings on either). Get her back together, and keep up the good work!

Congrats on the times , sorry to hear about the motor . not the kinda thing you like to hear about after spending the money it takes to have a "BUILT" motor
