color matched front bumper

Don't forget about the rear bumper. Truck will look better with matching bumpers. I painted both of mine and it looked real good. I used w/t bumpers because they weren't chrome. I have since switched to an ss front cover and roll pan.

I'm doing a roll pan in the rear too

what lowering kit do you have?
sick truck!!

Truck had a DJM 3/5 then I lowered it more to a 4/6. Rubbed a little bit, but 4wd worked just fine

Mine is a textured stock plastics, just sanded down, smoothed and painted.

i forget what brand they are but they are the 06 tows with 01 electrical parts so they plug right in if you google 2001 silverado tow mirrors you should be able to find them

about three coats of paint and they are smooth

I tried doing that but didn't have much luck unfortunately. If you could please dig up more info I would appreciate it,really would!


I seen mirrors like that heated and electric but they were for I believe 07. So your saying that these mirrors are for a 06 and they bolt right up no issues? What do you mean by 01 electrical parts?

I need a better set of mirrors for my rig and those look great as does your truck. Thanks I hope you could provide more info with out me begging!

Richlmm's photoshoped bumper is exactly what I want my bumper to look like. Can u buy denali bumper covers? I was just going to have it powdercoated.

I know this isnt the bumper persay, but here is the plastics all color matched.

I had the chrome part of my bumper painted and left the texture black parts alone. I also had the chrome part of the grille painted. Here are a couple of pictures and a picture of the rollpan.

Yup, you can just buy the cover. I by no means am a painter, but painting over chrome from my understanding may not last very long.
