did you paint the injectors??

Yes I did...
I first took my dremel and a detail brush and got all the heavy corrosion off then i taped off the plastic tops and main body so I was only painting the exposed area
Then I had to/decided to use a high heat rust inhibiting/converting primer as a base and I used the orange engine enamel and presto! Hopefully they'll stay like that for a while. Man they looked like shit before and my OCD's were like "aw hell no"

One question? You have 60 overs and plan on getting dual fuelers...why the stock bottom end dude? It will be a matter of time until you are restarting the whole process.

Lol
I was just saying "hey I got a new pump in the valley now cuz I plan to run duals later"

I also plan to start getting the "proper supporting parts" for the dual fueler kit as money allows
;)

Why the stock bottom end??? Well after a long ordeal, a pretty shitty year and extenuating financial circumstances...
Obviously cuz I could t afford a built one

I'm just buying parts for now man, I may not have completely "learned a lesson" but I have gained some much needed experience and I'm definitely not going to push this engine like I did the last one. I'm basically just getting everything I can now, to have ready for "when" I can build it...
:thumb:
I plan to slap pistons and rods in ASAP...

If you aren't going to push the engine, then why are you putting 60 overs in it and a modded pump...with plans of adding a second pump? All I'm saying is that motor is done for already haha

Cuz I had a set of 60's
The pump isn't a modded pump...IT STOCK BRO!
Like I said, I'm "planning on getting dual fuelers" not installing the kit. That won't happen until there's some better components involved
Geez

Back to the whole "if you can't afford to do it right the first time" thing....

Oh boy....
Keyboard ninja's...

Listen, the parts I've used on the new engine are pretty much all the same parts I already had. With the exception of selling the vgt72 and going with a smaller charger, adding a pinned h2o pump and a SoCal damper.

So my last engine lost a piston, ok...
It had 150k mi and was pushed really hard for the last 30k with tuning in excess of 230whp over stock...those pistons saw 2000*F dozens of times and were HELD at temps well beyond what's considered safe for far to long more times than they ever should've.

Like I said, I may not have totally "learned my lesson" cuz after all I'm still here, but I've gained some valuable experience that's come at a large cost and greater inconvenience...

Thanks for the concerns fellas, but I'll be just fine

Thanks for the offer :thumb:
I might just take you up on that, it would be awesome to have an extra set of eyes and hands!
I'll provide the steak and booze
:woott:

I thought you already had a 3794 off the other motor? If I was correct in reading that then throw it on and be done

Naw man, I "had" a VGT72 but once the whole stock engine replacement came into play I sold it to limit the potential of breaking another engine...
;)

The turbo is really the only thing I'm waiting on that's keeping this beast from running...

A couple more weeks and I'll be able to afford one, now I just gotta figure out which one I wanna afford
