looks awesome,,should give everyone some ideas on how to route things.
any pics of the harness cleaned up?

I did not take any pics while we were removing/moving wires (other then the one with the engine harness unloomed). But essentially anything that was not needed to make the engine run was removed, then the wires that were left over were all consolidated into the big bale connector. I made the same changes on the ECM side and plugged her in. Also, had to extend some of the injector pig tails, as I wanted the FICM to mount away from the engine. And moved the FICM/ECM grounds to the same location on the back of the driver side head. I did move the baro sensor away from the engine as well and have it close to the ECM, attached to the harness, just to give us extra room at the bale connector.

Well, never a dull moment. 2 days of racing went well. Next day of just driving down the road not so much. Broke #1 intake pushrod. Didn’t seem to do any other damage. Cleaned everything up, found all the broken pieces and slammed in another. Seemed to run fine with another stock one.

Just to be safe, ordered up a set of SoCal CM ones and a rocker stud kit. Got those in this weekend.

Only got 1 timed pass on New Year’s Day. Went 11.17@120 off the trailer. Hopefully will be testing in 2 weeks here locally.

That's an interesting failure mode. Don't think I've ever seen one fail like that before.

Neither have I. But after speaking to Lorenzo at SoCal and knowing the abuse they seen in my car the past 10 years chopping it up to fatigue...... I should have replaced them when I built the engine but, it’s done now.

Fingers crossed, hoping for the best.

So far so good, have a few hundred miles on the new pushrods and hasn't missed a beat. Also went to the track this last weekend........... ran a better time then before so all is well :) Went an 11.02@120.

We will keep plugging away at her this season and hopefully get it going faster and faster. Taking a trip down to Pomona this Friday, in her, to the NHRA opening event. Planning on heading down early morning, cruising by SoCal then hitting the track by mid day. This will be a pretty long trip, specially since its all in the same day.

SoCal trip went well. Got to hang out a bit with Guy, Lorenzo and Gabe. As always, great people to be around. Also made it to the Pomona Auto Club Raceway to watch some fuel cars and the car never missed a beat. Over 800 miles round trip all in the same day.

hi rFletes79 very nice work and sweet ride just woundering what kind of rad and air toair you have in there ? I am doing a build with a dmax and am looking for a rad and cooler if you could mention size and where you got them that would be great. I just want to make sure i get a rad that will keep it cool and a air to air that will fit. Thanks Denis

The radiator is a Summit generic universal type. This is the second one in the car, first one went out 1-2 yrs ago, lasted about 50k then it started leaking. Was cheaper to replace it then fix it, these go for less then 200$ from summit. I'm getting ready to order a different style radiator that fits the car better, it will be a little lower in the core support so the factory upper mount will bolt on again and will have trans cooler provisions and a heater core return fitting as well. Hopefully next month I'll make the change to the new radiator, depending on the brand they vary from 150-300 dollars.

The IC is a godspeed, have had it since day one, over 60k miles on it and seems to work good. Currently run 55psi of boost thru it and have had it as high as 90psi with the triples. Found it on ebay over 10 years ago for 150$, not sure what they run today but prob about the same. Its for a Grand National v6 turbo car.

Ran this weekend with NHRDA in az and WCHRA at Famoso. LONG weekend but back at home now. Ran a new best today in Bakersfield. Had a very similar pass at Wildhorse yesterday but let off just before the quarter, ran a 10.92 off the throttle on that pass. Had a great time. :)

This is with the new sticks, cam, tires and front suspension upgrades. Everything seems pretty happy. Leaving harder then it’s ever left.... best 60’ times, even compared to when we were running the LBZ/triples.

TX of course
Looking really good!
Did something happen after the launch? It looks like it picked the front end up laid down then came back up. It might just be my phone...
