Looking really good!
Did something happen after the launch? It looks like it picked the front end up laid down then came back up. It might just be my phone...

Not that many changes this month. Added in a Billet wheel to the atmo turbo, no change. Think it sounds different when spooling and when I chop the throttle. But over performance is the same.

Ran it last weekend with NHRDA here locally and ran a 10.91 in the 10.90 index. Same as last month here in Sacramento. This track just can’t hold enough traction to go faster then that. Ended up losing in the final round do to a messed up boost tube.

My daughter ran the tow rig and the Trans is just tired. It did run a 15.0@94, which is surprising considering this is an extremely mellow tune and the stock trans has 308k miles on it. It’s showing its age and limped 2 out of 4 passes. Time to build it!!

We’re driving it the Chevelle to Redding this coming week for a car show and drag race, Kool April Nights, not sure if anyone is from the area but if you are we’ll be running the car Friday night.

Guess I never posted any updates since getting the new vc on. Car has been running pretty good for the past few months. Ran it in Redding in April, Fontana with NHRA In Super Street (10.90 index) divisional race in may, Sonoma on Memorial Day and this week again at Sonoma. Car has been running in the 10.9’s until this week. Had a few gremlins that came up on our third pass.

We’re hoping to run at a National event maybe this year, but for sure next year. That’s why we went to the divisional race in Fontana to get out grade points. Had a blast and the other racers were blown away. We trailered the car there but drove it back n forth from the track, to the airport, to the hotel and back to the track for 3 days. They couldn’t believe what we were doing. Was super cool. Didn’t go rounds but still had a blast.

Here are a couple pics of what it looks like today. Prob going to start making the tstat housing on the Cnc machine this month as the 59 is gaining some traction. If anyone is interested lmk, I’ll get you a price.

4000 miles this year so far. Put in a new exh housing last month after the failure and hit a local divisional race, then hit August nights a couple weeks ago. I’m just glad it’s still holding together. And running well. The truck is taking a lot of my time so the Chevelle doesn’t get used as much. We’re racing another local event this coming weekend in a 10.90 index.

I’m thinking of making a change to a single S475, what success has anyone had with this combo? Has anyone made more power with it compared to a s475 over a factory ihi? Hoping to make something happen over the winter and get this thing going faster....

Latest updates for the Chevelle. Still gathering parts but may be making the switch to the single sooner then I thought.

All done, up and running again. Hopefully testing this weekend here locally.

New intercooler and turbo set up work extremely well. So far the intake temps are well in check. Pretty amazing how it all works together. I’ll know this weekend for sure how efficient it all ended up. But so far so good. The package it tight, and spools really well. Car is a whole new animal again .

Thx you guys. Someday I might actually have a ‘built’motor for her. But for now we just keep on flogging the stock shit. Lol.

This intake is something else, not sure who on here has one on an LB7 but holy crap. It’s quite the task to make it work. I thought it was pretty straight forward, specially since I already had custom fuel return lines. That helped but it still needs a lot of changes besides the return rail.....

The car is ready for testing. I’ve put some miles on her the past couple days here in town and a couple hits on the back roads. Feels good. We got very creative with the fuel temp sensor. So far it’s working well in its new home. I’ll have more data Saturday and will post the details then.
