I am thinking of taking a couple road trips this January to visit a few shops and do some chamber pressure monitoring in conjunction with dyno tuning. Kinda peddle the wares and maybe help out a few people.

If anyone is interested, let me know. I have two places lined up for private sessions right now. Thought it might be a good thing for others too.

Let me guess.

January, so you are probably headed to some paradise like Wisconsin to test the cold starting ability of the new motor? ;)

Schedule and timing dependant, I might like to tag along

I would be interested in the west coast, but not for only one session. The $$ for the ticket would not make it worth it. I would want to spend at least 2-3 days playing.

8 hrs Driving distance from Pgh is easy. I'll be there.

The in betweens are the hard call. East of the Mississippi isn't hard to justify.

Ben, you're at around 9 hrs. That's doable if I can get a couple high performance trucks to log. Lesser engines too, but only in quantity.

I plan on at least one stop in Indiana and Wisconsin so far. Talking about a trip to the Carolinas too. Was hoping for a Florida and Texas run, but only if invited. Idaho is interesting as a Mecca of twin turbos. SoCal for the usual reasons. Then there is Australia....

January because I have the free time. Though I might try again in the summer if there is enough demand.

It is amazing how much time it takes to slide south from Rt 80 to Pgh. No good way to go. Best time so far to New London has been 7-1/2 hrs, but I was cookin in the Solstice.

depends on when in jan, but i should be home during the first couple weeks for R&R. i could provide my "stock" 01 with a tow tune in it, and a 500-550hp 04 lb7 with a 2.5" s400. probably could get a stock lmm to come with me too, and maybe Leadfoot and his lbz with Mcrat's tuning.

if you wanted to, we could probably set up a day at Jannetty's, he has a superflow dyno, it would be kinda central. i don't know if Jay has his motor up a going again, if he does, his truck would be quite a test as well:thumb:
