What is your preferred dyno of choice?

Load cell dyno capable of at least a 5 second sweep. The big roller Superflows with dual absorbers work very well. The problem with most dynos is the bigger builds just overwhelm the dynos ability to hold back the engine. You end up with 5'th gear runs to give the dyno a mechanical advantage, but that is a weak gear on a lot of trucks for tuning and mechanical reasons.

John, we have the race truck at 1100+HP, then a built LBZ with twins, should be in the 850HP+ range, a couple stock engined twin trucks that all need dyno work anyway before March.

We should set something up. It's been 20 years since I have visited the your area. The hard part is always scheduling the trucks to show up at the appointed times....

If you end up getting this way, Jon...let me know. I should have my poop-in-a-group by January. Maybe I can tag along to Illinois with Merchant.

They are owned by us, so no worries getting them to show up:D Only dyno in the area is for sale and is a dynojet. I'll have to look into that part.

Not sure I even want to see the cyl. pressure on the race truck...
