I don't have IAT2 in my PID list any longer. Its not in EFI Scan and Tune BBL. If anyone has the computer code for me to put in the Options file I will log it too.

I did some logs the other day and I was logging Converter Duty Cycle (if thats the right one?) and never could get it to read over 65% from what I saw on the screen of my V2. Built trans in TH, M, and 5th gear.

If you are logging the TCM, then you can't log the ECM pid's and vice Versa. Make sure you are connected to the module you are looking to log.

In the PID list, start with the imperial lbz, then select what you want. Sometimes I have to validate pid's after connecting. After you creat the list you want, you can save it for future use.

Or call me tomorrow and I'll help you out. I'm only a few minutes from you in Houston.

Its a LBZ and there was IAT2 a long time a go, but I never was sure what it was and it didn't seem quite right. But if its at the Y bridge thats way it would quit jive with what i was looking for.

You can log TCM and ECM

I have my own custom pid list, but I will look through the imperial lbz list too.

I'll look into it some more. Might have to try logging through the laptop. I've never done it before.

I didn't know you could log TCM and ECM at the same time.

If you are using the v2 to log, are you loading the PID list to the controller in the v8 software? You might have left it off there

I haven't checked to see if they're labeled any differently on the laptop, but the AAT PID in black box logging is the temp at the MAF sensor and IAT is the temp at the bridge.

You can log the TCM and ECM together, but only if you're doing black box logging with the V2.

That makes sense and I should of known that based on some of my last few log with my winter cover on. 140* would be pretty warm at the MAF...

I got the lift pump motor replaced. I'll dust off the laptop and see if I still remember how to set up PIDs. I should have a few logs this week.

I'm not very fluent with Windows. How do you take a screenshot?

I have WindowsXP and a laptop from 2003. No windows button here. I run all Apple products except this garbage HP laptop. I guess I'll just google it. lol.

My trans tune is set to downshift very quickly & this was the best I could do without making it grab 4th. I'll geet a log of a 4th gear roll just for shits and giggles.

Yeah, 10 sec is slow. lol

Almost forgot, 40% injectors and stock CP3, 265/75/r16, AAT 40*

EDIT: I noticed that most logs were not from 0% APP on the roll so I will do another at cruising throttle.

Got time to post the log. Next time I have time to drive my truck I'll try and get a stock one.
1467-2334 RPMs 51-58 MPH 5th gear T/H ran it up to 20PSI = 1.88 Sec.

long story short, from what I can gather from IAT and IAT2 (at filter and then Y bridge) under throttle holding 20psi total boost and steadily accelerating I only see a max of 20-25F increase in temp through the turbo system.

Waiting to see the results of the same test through a stock turbo to see if there is more heat introduced into the system at the low boost levels.

Try and remember to do this one too. From a dead stop to how fast did you go?

I did another 5th gear run from cruising throttle. It's so damn hard to accomplish without a kickdown to 4th. You have to peddle it just right.
