Probably because a "lesser" engine would work better than an incomplete engine:baby:
Damn good point even for a guy who washes a cat in the kitchen sink
?
An 8.50 cage is like a fortress of bars, IIRC you can't have a pull out/clevis bar, getting in the seat is a bit*h without it, when you consider the 30* angle and elbow/shoulder height. The truck sits so high i'd need a ladder to get over the mid bar!! Usually you can rest a cheek on it and slide in, we don't have little ole cars anymore.
This is with Dynomite Diesel injectors.
Peak RPM was 5250 rpm. This is a heavily detorqued setup, Casper makes less torque than Wendy does. Max boost was 62psi, peak EGT's were just under 1400.
still LLY wiring, ecm, tuning etc. or have you made the switch to LBZ stuff now??? If it's LLY still, how'd you trick it into turning extra Rs??? None of the tables are even able to be populated beyond 4800 I didn't think???
reloaded these twice can't get the thumb nails to enlarge

With bars coming through the back window area, what do you do to seal it up, or do you just leave it open? Sorry I'm cage illiterate....
It's still all LLY, and it does rev past 5,200. Often when you go off the end of a table, it just uses the last value.
Nothing like seeing the tach needle entering the red zone from the wrong direction...
Subman....what is the bright silver cylinder on the drivers door bar for? Is that the handle to "open" it? Sorry....Im cage-illiterate.
