That was with a 2400 msec fuel shot so we could collect some data. We had 4 problems with the truck, but could only fix one at the track.
HARMONIC BALANCER WARNING: If you want to spin past 4000rpm, you will need to ditch the factory balancer. It started to come apart, and was throwing the belt ever pass.
Didn't you say in a previous thread that you were running a stroker crank? If so, don't the cranks come balanced with an ATI balancer?
Maybe I am blind but is the drivers seat on the passanger side?
No it not.

Pat, again congrats.
Have you located the parts required for the tech at the speeds you'll be going?
Cert chassis, axles, arm restraints etc etc? after 135 right?
Chassis is 8.50 certified, arm restraits, net, chute, fire, etc, are all in place. Chute was not installed simply because we didn't expect to need it yet.
by NHRA already? 8.50 cert every 2 years or 3 years?
How do you get into the seat!!
Did you have to do the axles or not, perhaps only for 2 wheel cars?

He moves like a panther, you'd be surprised

Cage was cert'd by the NHRA before it ever left Mitch's shop. I'd have to read the book for the re-cert interval. The seat is very good, it's thick aluminum, and bolted in with 8 bolts. You cannot move significantly when in full dress. Our trucks have full floating axles, so I'd be surprised if it's an issue.
I gave my '09 rulebook to my cousin...What does the axle spec say???
Nice! your ready Man. Got a sticker, ready to race it up to 150+ mph. Did you mild or CM? Nobody , that i could find, makes pre bent cage for our trucks so its a custom job no?
I think its 2 years. An 8.50 cage is like a fortress of bars, IIRC you can't have a pull out/clevis bar, getting in the seat is a bit*h without it, when you consider the 30* angle and elbow/shoulder height. The truck sits so high i'd need a ladder to get over the mid bar!! Usually you can rest a cheek on it and slide in, we don't have little ole cars anymore.
Frankly i haven't got there yet in 2009, i saw mention of it. Prolly C clip elims, trans and flex shields, "diapers".
They have always wanted to keep the axles/tires in/on the housing. This is from the 95 book IIRC
Chris you have been through this many many times, what know you?
